The annual Miss Latin America® of the World pageant is produced by Organización Miss America Latina, Inc. The pageant was created to highlight Latin culture and the intellectual and professional merits of the Latin woman, as well as promoting goodwill and tourism between nations.

From its beginnings, this Organization and its President-Founder have received official recognitions and awards from governments and multinational companies for the laudable goals they have promoted with their work over decades.

Miss Latin America® of the World has journeyed through North American, Central American and South American countries with its annual productions and the official travels of its titleholders,
who have extended that journey to Europe during their respective reigns.

Founded in 1981 by a Latina, Miss Latin America® of the World is the first and oldest international competition exclusively for Latinas. Since its inception, the Pageant has proudly worked to highlight Latin women and their accomplishments.
